Our Story

Lobster No.9 is a seafood restaurant that takes pride in using the freshest seafood available in order to serve the best tasting meals.  The best seafood restaurants are typically the smaller authentic little places you find when traveling through the North East coast like Cape Cod or Boston areas.  This is exactly the type of fresh quality you will find at lobster No. 9

Whats the No.9 mean?  We give thanks everyday to the Lobster, for giving us the opportunity to base our business around the cute little buggers.  As our way of showing gratitude, every ninth lobster we buy is released back into the ocean.  It’s our way of giving back to mother nature.

We receive deliveries EVERYDAY from the harbors of Maine.  How?  We have partnered with several other retail and wholesale businesses to coordinate the eight hour drive in order to save time and gas.  Everyday some poor kid makes the drive down, returning with seafood that's many times less than 12 hours from being caught out at sea.  Why?  We guarantee to have the freshest seafood available in our town.  We want you to enjoy every meal at Lobster No.9 as if you had made the drive yourself to the East Coast harbors.
